Our Day At The Harbor

All the cousins met together to have a fun day on the harbor today. We went to a really kid friendly marine museum where the girls had a lot of fun discovering what lived in the Santa Barbara ocean. The museum is located on the pier so everything they were looking at was actually found right underneath them. It's hard to see, but the sack hanging from the string is a shark egg sack. There is actually a baby shark swimming around in there. They also had a tank of the adult leopard sharks that my girls were much to scared to touch. They did touch some starfish however and had fun looking at the tanks of fish.

After the museum we went on the cutest little boat called Little Toot. It just putted around the harbor but the girls thought it was so cool just to be riding on a boat in the ocean. The captain even let them steer the boat for a bit and toot the horn. Reanne was all smiles. I was really happy just to be out on such a lovely sunny day surrounded by ocean instead of snow. And I have to say it made me miss living in such a beautiful place.
