Reanne drew this at home. I bet I know what they were learning about at school last week.

Another Mile Stone

Today Grant crawled officially for the first time. I can't say he did it very well, but I can say it was very cute.

Gardening and Gutting

I saw this Columbine flower at Walmart and bought a couple to plant in my garden last weekend. I think Columbines are such pretty flowers. I also got a couple Lavenders to grow in pots because they smell really great, are pretty hardy, and the pots will contain their monstrous growth. While I was doing that....

Jess was busy (not really gutting but definitely carving) up the front end of a deer. A friend of his gave it to him, probably knowing he would never be able to do what Jess was doing. I have to admit that I would never be able to chop up an animal either and Jess is perfectly willing. He does do some great things with the meat. My only question is: Does he have to do it in my kitchen?

Happy Easter

When I was little my mom used to make us Easter dresses every year and I thought it was the best. I have never done that but one day might work up the courage. But one of my favorite things, still to this day, is dressing my girls up for the holiday and looking at all the other girls who are also sporting their newest dresses. I think that most would agree, there are a few great perks to being a girl.

Weekend Project

Thanks Ruby for inspiring us to do this weekend project. Although it was a bit hard on the knees, this helped Jess and I solve a two year debate. How much food storage do we really have?
