Poor Reanne

Yesterday Reanne had to get her baby tooth pulled at the dentist. It wasn't coming out because her big tooth, which was fully grown, was far enough behind her baby one that it wasn't pushing it out on it's own. All of you who know Reanne knows how traumatic that would be for her. Even with laughing gas, numbing medication and me holding her hand through the whole experience, she was still in hysterics.

Well, if that wasn't enough trauma in one day.....

After our Enrichment activity that night, Reanne was running around the church and jumped into an open cupboard door. It popped her head open resulting in a trip to the Instacare. She was relieved, and I was a bit annoyed, when the doctor didn't have to stitch the gash or even glue it. But the whole experience translated into what Reanne said was "the worst day of my whole life." I think I agree with her on this one. This was one day I was glad to have over.

Our Day At The Beach

It was overcast and chilly every day that we were in Santa Barbara but we still had to go to the beach. The girls tried to build castles in the dry sand because they were scared to get to close to the waves and Grant fell asleep to the sound of the ocean.

Last week we spent the day at Disneyland. It was the highlight of our California trip. The whole trip down Reanne and Sierra discussed how brave they were going to be and how much they were looking forward to the roller coasters. The first ride we went on was Pirates of the Caribbean. Reanne knew there was a few drops in the ride and suddenly wasn't so brave anymore. She screamed so loud as we went down that all the babies started crying. After that however, it seems she could handle everything well and she even went on Big Thunder Mountain and loved it.

Here are the girls after the 3-D movie "A Bug's Life." They added some "special" effects like stink from a stink bug, spray from a poisonous bug, and bugs crawling on your seat. Yuck!

Can you tell that everyone is getting tired? It was a long day but a really fun one. We all love Disneyland.
