The Nebo Loop

We tried to have a family fun activity yesterday since Jess is home for a few days.  It ended up in disaster.  So we tried again today and started driving the Nebo loop to go on a very kid friendly hike called the Grotto.  I don't know if it was the threats to take away their My Little Ponies, but today's excursion was much better.  The kids all said the favorite part of the hike was walking across the wood beams.

At the top of the trail is a pretty waterfall.  The kids were prepared with bathing suits and even though the water was ice cold they still got in.

The hike wasn't long so we decided to go to the next spot on the map: The Devil's Kitchen.  It was kind of far...and not really a hike...more of a 3 minute walk.  It rained on the way there so it was a bit chilly as we walked/jogged to keep warm.  Reanne informed us that hell is cold.

We thought we might as well finish the Nebo loop since we already went so far on it.  It's really pretty but super long.  I didn't realize it at the time, but our car marked the drive at about 100 miles from start to finish!

Looks like a neat place! Was it far from home? "Hell is cold!" haha, oh Reanne. That sounds like it was quite the long adventure/day.
